Nostalgic Museum Train, Radebeul

The nostalgic narrow gauge railway trundles through Saxonia, from Radebeul over Moritzburg up to Radeburg.
Narrow gauge railway has a long history. In 120 years different types of vehicles developed, which aren’t used anymore today, but therefore are exhibited in the train station Radebeul East.
There are impressive steam trains, railway carriages, mail cars and simple freight carriages to be seen. The track, which is 16,55 kilometres long was officially opened in 1884. The main goal was to connect Radeburg’s agriculture, forestry and industry to the industrial centre Dresden. However the train was increasingly used as tourist attraction.
In the year 1913 more than 400.000 travellers used the route. Come aboard the train-
