On the occasion of the 25th national garden show in Magdeburg, the fantastic Elbauenpark was designed in the north-east of the city.
The  attractions this nature and culture park offers are countless, the unrivaled highlight being the „Jahrtausendturm“ (Millennium Tower). The tower which was constructed to be crooked on purpose is 60 metres high – this makes it the highest wooden tower in Europe.
On 5 floors there is enough space for interactive historical and scientific exhibitions. The sixth floor was developed into an observation platform.
14 themed gardens, a butterfly house, a summer toboggan run, a climbing tower, a panorama  train, a maze and a lake stage for open-air events are waiting to be discovered. After many exciting hours the park also offers relaxation at the end of an eventful day. The Elbauenpark in Magdeburg has something to offer for every taste!
